ANZAC Day Commemorised Virtually
Around New Zealand today we are honouring the ANZAC’s virtually.. Here is some of the highlights from here in Hawke’s Bay.
I’d like to begin this blog, by heading out to Elsthorpe. The community of Elsthorpe led by my friend, George Williams of Black Dog Design.
Developed their ANZAC Day service over Facebook. The ANZAC posts for Elsthorpe are still being posted and of which, are posted backwards so people see them in order, when visiting the Facebook.

ANZAC Day at Elsthorpe began with a beautiful piano rendition.
The National Anthem by Patrick Power, ONZM.
Local Jim Macaulay raised the flag, when the Reveille is played by CHB Mayor Alex Walker.
George Williams read the Ode to the Fallen at Mangakuri Beach.
Coming back into town now, Hastings Napier, and Taradale & Districts RSA put on an ANZAC Day which was stream and hosted by Dunstalls.
Wairoa District Council provided their locals with a pre-recorded ANZAC Day service.
Numerous people around the community stood at the end of their driveways for #StandAtDawn today, here are some of my favourites from Instagram and Facebook.
